Day one of the Cheltenham Festival is known as Champions Day and will next take place on 13/3/2018.
The opening race of the Cheltenham Festival is the very exciting Supreme Novices Hurdle, the winner of which will hopefully be seen competing at the Cheltenham Festival for years to come. For example Douvan and Vautour won this race before going on to win races at the following years Festival.
